Turpentine Creek is proud to be a member of the Eureka Springs Chamber of Commerce as well as the Eureka Springs Downtown Network, and supports as many Eureka Springs public events as we can. This month we participated in a number of events geared towards supporting our community and providing visitors with a memorable trip to our great town. To kick off the Holiday events, we joined the fun in the annual Christmas Parade Celebration.
Our staff and interns worked very hard to create a parade float worthy of attention. Our entire staff could be seen dancing alongside the float as two "Tiggers" partied together center stage. Leading up to the parade you could find one of our interns wrapping presents in our Downtown Store window as one of the many "Living Window" displays downtown.
Ever wondered what it would look like to see 47 runners dressed as "Santa" running down Eureka Springs' streets? That is what visitors could have seen as I joined the other runners in the first annual Santa Fun Run.
All month long when you visit the historic 1886 Crescent Hotel, you will see TCWR's Christmas tree, one of 30 trees decorated by local non-profit organizations. If you vote and donate to our tree, TCWR will receive the donated money.
These are just a few of the events that TCWR takes part in throughout the year, some in town, and some out here at the Refuge. Each event requires our hardworking, dedicated staff and interns to go above and beyond the call of duty, but it is well worth it to know that we are supporting our local community.
